Stainless steel electrolytically polished (EP) tubes are used in applications where surface finish requirements far exceed the quality achieved with standard milled finishes. 316 material is more corrosion-resistant than 304 material, so it is used in applications prone to corrosion risks. High purity Ep pipe makes the pipe surface cleaner. This allows electropolished stainless steel pipes to retain less contaminants on the surface.
